cFocus Software seeks a Crestron Computer Programmer to join our program supporting the United States Air Force (USAF). This position is on-site in Linthicum Heights, MD. This position requires an Active TS/SCI clearance.
Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • B.S. Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience programming and maintaining Crestron audiovisual control systems and user interfaces.
  • Ability to translate operational requirements into maintainable control logic and device integrations.
  • Knowledge of VTC endpoints, displays, audio systems, and audiovisual control interfaces.
  • Experience testing integrated systems, debugging programs, and resolving device communication issues.
  • Working knowledge of network connectivity and secure configuration practices for control systems.
  • Experience managing versioned source code, release artifacts, and configuration documentation.
  • Ability to prepare clear operational procedures and support users and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills in operational support environments
Duties:
  • Gather and document approved room-control, audiovisual, and conferencing requirements, including device functions, workflows, dependencies, and expected behavior.
  • Develop and maintain Crestron control programs and user interfaces for approved processors, touch panels, and connected audiovisual equipment.
  • Implement control logic for conferencing, source selection, display operation, audio settings, and other approved room functions.
  • Integrate control software with approved VTC endpoints, displays, audio components, and supporting device interfaces in coordination with integrators.
  • Coordinate network addressing, connectivity, interface permissions, and firewall dependencies with authorized network and cybersecurity personnel.
  • Design clear user controls and feedback that support predictable operation; validate workflows with mission users and technical stakeholders.
  • Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing; verify device responses, interface behavior, error handling, and recovery after approved changes.
  • Diagnose control-code, device-interface, and connectivity failures; coordinate troubleshooting and restoration with VTC and service desk teams.
  • Maintain source code, configuration files, interface specifications, and release artifacts in approved repositories with version control and traceability.
  • Prepare software changes for Government review and authorization; deploy approved releases under established procedures following successful testing.
  • Maintain approved configurations and support security checks, vulnerability remediation, and updates affecting control software or connected components.
  • Support video and telecommunications service requests, including conference readiness checks, user assistance, and escalation of unresolved issues.
  • Document incidents, service requests, defects, repairs, and changes in approved systems; provide technical status and resolution information.
  • Develop operational instructions, troubleshooting guides, connection diagrams, and maintenance procedures for Government review and support-team use.
  • Recommend control-system improvements and compatibility or lifecycle updates; support approved integration work and provide technical assessment evidence.
