cFocus Software seeks a SharePoint Backend Developer to join our program supporting the United States Air Force (USAF). This position is on-site in Linthicum Heights, MD. This position requires an Active TS/SCI clearance.
Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • B.S. Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience developing SharePoint backend integrations, automation, and repository-based solutions.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint lists, libraries, content types, metadata, permissions, and supported integration interfaces.
  • Ability to develop maintainable backend code or scripts for the assigned SharePoint deployment model.
  • Experience with APIs, data exchange, validation, error handling, logging, and technical documentation.
  • Understanding of workflow automation, information governance, and records management requirements.
  • Experience with version control, automated testing, CI/CD, and controlled software deployments.
  • Working knowledge of secure coding, access controls, vulnerability remediation, and configuration management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot integrations and workflows and collaborate with developers, administrators, and stakeholders..
Duties:
  • Translate Government-approved requirements into backend designs, integration logic, and automation for assigned SharePoint solutions.
  • Develop and maintain repository structures, lists, document libraries, content types, and metadata supporting approved information and knowledge management requirements.
  • Build backend services and scripts for content processing, data synchronization, and application integration using interfaces supported by the approved SharePoint environment.
  • Develop, document, test, and maintain APIs and data-sharing interfaces under approved requirements, security policies, and applicable interagency agreements.
  • Create automated workflows that aggregate authorized data from business intelligence tools and other approved sources to generate reports, notifications, and alerts.
  • Implement data tagging, metadata handling, validation, and data quality checks in accordance with Government-approved governance standards.
  • Implement authorized access controls and secure data handling in coordination with administrators and cybersecurity personnel; preserve applicable system and authorization boundaries.
  • Support records tagging, classification, retention, and disposition functions under Government-approved records schedules and procedures, as assigned.
  • Develop backend integrations supporting approved reporting and dashboard requirements; coordinate data structures and interfaces with BI and frontend teams.
  • Use version control and approved CI/CD workflows to develop, integrate, test, and prepare solutions for Government review and authorized deployment.
  • Maintain application configuration and deployment artifacts under approved change procedures; coordinate IaC and CaC integration where applicable.
  • Incorporate Government-specified security controls and pipeline guardrails; address vulnerability findings and secure configuration changes with cybersecurity teams.
  • Implement logging, exception handling, monitoring, and alerting for backend services and workflows; investigate failures and performance degradation.
  • Prepare technical designs, API documentation, deployment instructions, test records, and support procedures; provide evidence supporting RMF and ATO activities.
  • Maintain and enhance deployed solutions, resolve assigned defects and service requests, and support knowledge transfer and user guidance with operations teams.
