cFocus Software seeks an API Developer to join our program supporting Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This position is remote. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • 3-5 Years of experience with REST based APIs
  • 3-5 Years experience with HTTP and SOAP Protocols
  • 3-5 Years experience with REST and Rest Oriented Architecture (ROA)
  • 3-5 Years experience with JAVA/ JavaScript/Python/.NET development
  • Problem solver and troubleshooter that thrives in resolving complex problems.
  • Excellent communications skill (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Duties:
 
  • Responsibilities include documentation of functional specifications for the Fleet H.O.M.E. APIs, product information, and the operational procedures.
  • Evaluate and select enterprise application development and integration technologies and solutions to support data ingestion from external sources.
  • Conduct functional, regression and load testing for API technologies.
  • Work with the ITPM and associated Fleet H.O.M.E. IT Support personnel in shaping an API design and deployment roadmap.
  • Devise and report on API integration development plans and strategies.
  • API design strategies to use GEOCODE data associated with Telematics
  • Develop asynchronous messaging architectures, rule-based systems, and network architectures.
  • Coordinating activities with other developers to ensure that API integration projects are completed on time.
  • Formulating strategies and designing architectures for systems integrations.
  • Ensure that best practices in integration processes are followed by the organization.
  • Check and correct conflicts in data configurations and overlaps.
  • Maintain the integrity and smooth functioning of the company's integration architecture.
  • Analyze and improve current system integrations and migration strategies.
  • Identify, debug, and advise on system errors or architecture issues.
  • Assist with the management of organizational databases and retrieval systems.
