Experienced
cFocus Software seeks a Test Engineer to join our program supporting HUD. This position is so-site in Washington, DC. This position requires active Public Trust clearance.
Qualifications:
- Masters of bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field
- 8+ years of Test Engineering experience
- HUD experience is desired
- Active Testing certification (i.e. PenTest+, etc.)
- Perform acceptance testing of the new or modified systems code and/or database changes/additions after successful completion of Contractor testing.
- Prepare or update a UAT plan and test scenarios/scripts (Section C.5.3) for users to follow during the initial structured portion of the UAT (following structured testing the users are encouraged to conduct their own free-form testing).
- Assist HUD during the preparation and execution of the acceptance test by establishing test data and maintaining the test environment.
- Provide the draft version of all documentation (Section C.5.3), including the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), which shall be delivered with the final product at the time of the initiation of the UAT period.
- Document the results of the testing in the Test Results Report.
- Coordinate release testing with the HUD Test Center, which includes providing all relevant files for the Test Center's realignment testing environment used to simulate the production environment for each release.
- Provide technical support which includes making corrections to errors discovered by the Test Center and HUD Infrastructure Team during the testing and deployment processes.
- Conduct testing within the HUD COOP environment as directed by the TPOC.
- The Contractor shall participate in testing the existing system Contingency Plans and/or participating in Disaster Recovery Drills, which ensure HUD's ability to operate and maintain systems and business operations in the event of a terrorist attack, natural disaster, or other significant disruption.
- Execute the Contingency Plan at the direction of the TPOC
- Support all HUD required vulnerability scanning and penetration testing, including providing credentials to security staff for the purposes of scanning and testing
