cFocus Software seeks a Senior Program Manager to join our program supporting the US Navy. This position is onsite in Suffolk, VA. This position requires a Secret clearance.

- Active Secret clearance
- Bachrlor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering degree; or a degree in Mathematics or Engineering field.
- Masters degree is preferred
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Active ITIL v3 Foundations or later certification
- 10+ years of experience managing complex projects or programs
- successful performance at the program management-level, with responsibility for management and control of cost, schedule, performance, and personnel, and communicating/interfacing with customers
Duties:
- Prepare and deliver briefs and draft documents to high-level audiences (O-6/GS-15 level and above).
- Developing comprehensive plans and strategies for managing IT projects across multiple functional areas, aligning them with organizational goals and objectives.
- Overseeing the coordination of resources, timelines, and deliverables for IT projects spanning different functional areas, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration among project teams.
- Execution Oversight: Directing and monitoring the execution of IT projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, budgets, and quality standards across all functional areas.
- Resource Management: Managing human and financial resources allocated to IT projects, optimizing resource allocation to maximize efficiency and effectiveness across functional areas.
- Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with IT projects in various functional areas, proactively addressing potential challenges to minimize disruptions and delays.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including the Contracting Officer, COR, project teams, and end users, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
- Quality Assurance: Implementing quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions and services across all functional areas, conducting regular reviews and assessments to maintain quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT processes, methodologies, and services across functional areas, leveraging feedback from stakeholders and lessons learned to optimize project outcomes.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and governance frameworks governing IT projects and operations across all functional areas, implementing measures to mitigate compliance risks and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitoring the performance of IT projects and initiatives across functional areas, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and preparing comprehensive reports for stakeholders to assess project progress and outcomes.
