cFocus Software seeks an ITSM Senior Functional Specialist/Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our program supporting the US Navy. This position is onsite in Suffolk, VA. This position requires a Secret clearance.

Qualifications:
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other Engineering discipline
  • 10+ years of experience managing progressively more complex and/or multiple technical programs/projects with responsibility for management and control of cost, schedule, performance, and personnel, communicating and interfacing with customers
  • 5+ years serving as senior expert with extensive knowledge in DOD, Navy, and Joint IT systems.
  • Active ITIL v3 Foundations and one ITILv3 intermediate certification, specifically Service Operations or Continual Service Improvement required, or ITIL v4 Foundations and ITILv4 Strategist Direct, Plan and Improve or ITIL 4 Specialist Create, Deliver and Support
  • Active Cloud certification

Duties:
 
  • Identify opportunities for improvement or innovation and resolves complex problems, which require an in‐depth knowledge of DOD and Navy IT systems.
  • Apply principles and methods of ITSM to solutions.
  • Define project scopes, setting timelines and milestones, coordinating resources and ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Provide insight and advice concerning task or project strategic direction and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the evaluation, analysis, and development of recommended solutions.
  • Resolves complex problems, which require an in‐depth knowledge of DOD and Navy IT systems.
  • Apply principles and methods of ITSM to solutions. Possesses demonstrated ability and experience in management consulting and cross‐team facilitation at technical and management levels.
  • Directs the activities of program teams or other staff as necessary.
