cFocus Software seeks a Security Architect to join our program supporting the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). This position is remote. This position requires the ability a Public Trust clearance.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, engineering, or related field
- Experience in enterprise cybersecurity, network operations, or security engineering environments
- Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale, complex cybersecurity environments
- Experience working in federal or highly regulated environments preferred
- Required Certifications
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) Or equivalent cybersecurity leadership certifications
- Establish and maintain enterprise security architecture aligned with federal cybersecurity mandates
- Provide recommendations on technology selection, design, and implementation
- Design and validate secure architectures across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
- Ensure alignment with NIST, FISMA, RMF, Zero Trust, and other federal standards
- Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and security engineering evaluations
- Define security controls, segmentation strategies, and defense-in-depth architectures
- Support integration of SOC/NOC tools including SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and IDS/IPS
- Develop architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical standards
- Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations teams to ensure secure system integration
- Support continuous monitoring, threat detection, and vulnerability management initiatives
- Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies and recommend improvements
